At Christmas, a floor stock assistant unwittingly gave me an extra Xbox 360 Kinect sensor. We didn't realize the mistake until Christmas morning when opening the main console box revealed that we had received two Kinect sensors for the price of one. Would've been easy to sell the Kinect and pocket a good $100+ dollars. Easier was the decision to return it and explain the error. They said thanks, of course, but I was grateful to have a chance to demonstrate a little thing called Integrity. (It's one of the words looking down at us from the top part of the refrigerator on our family values chart.) Can't say we're perfect, for sure, but I know I got that one right.

Target likewise gave me an opportunity to exercise my moral compass. This puts me in Group #1. (Most!) People know in their gut and by that little voice in their head what is the right decision...they just need to listen.

As usual, well said, Kirsten! Yes, we forget that when tragedy happens there is collective upheaval in the engertic patterns of the world. How this affects us depends on our sensitivity to it. Kids and empaths are especially vulnerable to the changing emotional patterns of the world. But no matter who we are, we are responding. And it is important to honor this.

Sara,<br
